Change Your Flight — We Handle the Complexity

Date changes, route modifications, name corrections — our agents manage every type of flight amendment quickly and accurately.

Plans Change. We Adapt With You.

Modifying a flight booking is rarely straightforward. Every change request must be assessed against the original fare rules, the airline's reissue policy, and current seat availability on your preferred alternative flights. Attempting to manage this independently through airline apps or websites can lead to unexpected fees, misapplied credits, or errors in reissued tickets.

Our agents navigate this process on your behalf. We assess the applicable airline fare rules for your ticket, identify the best available alternatives within your fare class or cabin type, calculate any fare differential and applicable change fees, and reissue your ticket correctly — all in a single call.

All change requests are processed by World's Travel LLC (IATA License No. 14017953). We handle changes across all airline reservation systems and ensure your reissued ticket reflects the updated itinerary accurately.

Travel Date Changes

Moving your departure or return date is the most common modification request. Our agents check new date availability in your booked fare class, calculate any fare difference or change penalty, and reissue your ticket for the updated travel dates.

Origin or Destination Changes

If your departure city or final destination needs to change, we assess whether your original ticket permits rerouting and identify the associated fees. Route changes often involve a full fare recalculation rather than a simple change fee.

Passenger Name Corrections

Typos or minor name discrepancies between your ticket and travel document must be corrected before check-in. We handle minor name corrections (up to 3 characters) and coordinate with the airline on more significant corrections that may require ticket reissuance.

Cabin Class Changes

Upgrading from economy to premium economy, business, or first class on an existing booking requires a fare differential payment and availability in the higher cabin. We check current upgrade availability and process the reissuance with the correct fare class.

Airline-Initiated Schedule Changes

If your airline changes departure times, cancels a flight, or adjusts routing, you may be entitled to a free rebooking or refund. We review what the airline has offered and advocate for your best available option under their schedule change policy.

Passenger Additions or Removals

Need to add a traveller to an existing booking or remove a passenger from the itinerary? We process passenger-level changes in accordance with the airline's ticketing rules, which vary significantly by carrier and fare type.

Important: All change requests must be submitted before the scheduled departure time. We cannot process changes for flights that have already departed. Additionally, Basic Economy and promotional fares may be entirely non-changeable — your agent will confirm the rules applicable to your specific ticket before any fees are incurred.

Flight Changes FAQs

The total cost of a date change depends on your fare type and the airline's change policy. Most standard economy fares incur an airline change fee (often $75–$200 for domestic, $200–$400 for international) plus any fare difference between your original ticket and the new flight. Flexible and refundable fares often waive the change fee but still require you to pay any fare difference. Our service fee also applies. Your agent will provide the exact total before processing.
This depends on your fare rules. Some fares permit rerouting with a change fee and fare recalculation; others (particularly Basic Economy) do not permit any changes. In many cases, changing to a substantially different destination requires cancelling the original ticket and booking a new one. Your agent will assess your options based on your specific fare conditions.
Yes. When an airline makes a significant schedule change — typically defined as a shift of 60 minutes or more, though this varies by carrier — passengers are generally entitled to a free rebooking on the next available flight on the same route, or a full refund if no suitable alternative exists. Call us and we'll review the specific change the airline has made and advise you on your entitlements.
Minor name corrections (such as a transposed letter or a shortened first name) can usually be processed by our agents directly in the reservation system, often at low or no cost. More significant name changes — such as a full name change due to legal reasons — may require a ticket reissuance and are subject to airline policy, which varies considerably. Always contact us as early as possible, as name corrections become more complicated (and more expensive) closer to the departure date.
